During my recent getaway to Guatape, Hotel Guatatur proved to be a charming base for my explorations. Nestled in the center of town, it offers easy access to the picturesque lake and bustling plaza, not to mention the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace - a perfect spot for unwinding after a day's adventure. The breakfast, while a bit basic, was enjoyable enough, highlighted by fresh fruits and eggs cooked to order. The staff were genuinely friendly and made me feel welcome, even with my shaky Spanish; their patience was a delight. On the downside, the noise from the nearby street was quite a distraction at night - a little earplug goes a long way in these bustling locations. My stay was comfortable thanks to the cozy, colorful rooms, and I appreciated the small touches like extra toiletries. I would certainly recommend Hotel Guatatur for anyone seeking a convenient, warm-hearted experience in vibrant Guatape!
